ROOFING WARRANTY
- A 40-year limited warranty is available for all materials upon written request – please inquire.
- Materials provided will be in accordance with Energy Star guidelines. These guidelines require a solar reflectivity (SR) value of 0.25 or higher for steep slope roofing or 0.65 or higher for low-slope roofing. A steep slope has a ratio above 2:12, and a low slope has a lower ratio.
- SR is a measurement of a material’s ability to reflect sunlight away from its surface. These values are measured on a scale from 0 to 1.0, with 0 indicating that a material absorbs all of the solar energy it encounters.
- Materials provided will also meet LEED requirements that specify a solar reflectivity index (SRI) of 78 or more for low-slope roofing and 29 or higher for steep-slope roofing. SRI values are calculated according to regulations set down in ASTME 1980.
